There is nothing more relaxing and rewarding than a day out with my camera. Golf comes close. That is, when I am not spending time looking for balls that I sliced into the rough. But back to photography ....
I got interested in photography about 15 years ago. My first camera was a used 35mm film Minolta SLR that my wife bought me as a gift when I was in grad school. Most of my earlier work was with Kodak Elite Chrome slide film. Since then, I have transitioned to Nikon digital SLRs. I currently shoot with a Nikon D610. I enjoy taking landscapes, cityscapes, monuments and candid photos of friends and family.

Favorite photo locations in Seattle
One of my favorite weekend activities is to scout the local area for photo locations. I am constantly browsing the web to see what other fellow photographers may have discovered. Here are some of my favorite locations in the Seattle area.
